Yiot Technology Co., Ltd. (“YIOT Technology”, “we”, “us”) operates www.dgyiot.com. This notice explains how we use personal information when you visit the website, contact us, or submit a project inquiry. For privacy questions or requests, contact gerry.li@aiyiot.com or write to No. 2 Jinlong Road, Jinxia Community, Chang’an Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, China.
Information we collect
If you submit a project inquiry, we receive the information you enter, which may include your name, business email, company, telephone or WhatsApp number, project details, and a link to drawings or CAD files. We also receive information you choose to send us by email or WhatsApp. Please do not send patient data or other sensitive personal information through the general inquiry form.
Our website and service providers may process technical data such as IP address, device and browser details, pages viewed, referral information, and information needed to operate, secure, or measure the website. Depending on your choices, cookies and similar technologies may also be used.
Why we use information
We use inquiry information to respond to your request, assess a project, discuss technical requirements, prepare a quotation, and manage any resulting business relationship. We use technical information to operate and protect the website. Optional analytics helps us understand and improve website use. We do not add inquiry contacts to a mass-marketing mailing list; inquiry contact details are used for business follow-up.
For visitors in the EU or UK, we rely on our legitimate interests to respond to relevant B2B inquiries and protect the site, on steps requested before entering a contract or performance of a contract where applicable, on legal obligations for required records, and on consent for optional analytics cookies. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it using the website’s cookie settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
Forms, analytics and external services
The project inquiry form sends submissions through Formspree. Depending on our form settings, Formspree may store a copy and send submissions to a configured email address. Formspree states that its service is hosted with Amazon Web Services in the United States. We use Google Analytics 4 and WP Statistics to understand website use; optional measurement is controlled by your Statistics choice in Cookie settings.
The site also offers a WhatsApp contact option and an embedded OpenStreetMap map. If you use those features, the providers may process information under their own notices. Hosting, email delivery, backup, security, and other website providers may process information as needed to provide their services.
Sharing and international processing
We share information with staff and service providers only as needed for the purposes above. Relevant project information may be shared with the personnel evaluating the work. Our business, manufacturing team, and service providers may be in different countries, so information may be accessed or processed outside your country of residence, including outside the EU or UK.
Cookies and choices
Necessary technologies support the operation and security of the website. Optional analytics and the embedded map are controlled by your choices in Cookie settings. You may accept, reject, or later change these choices. Our Cookie Policy describes the technologies used on this website. Browser settings can also control cookies, although disabling necessary technologies may affect site functions.
Retention
For inquiries that do not become projects, we delete the inquiry record and drawings 24 months after the last business contact, subject to any applicable legal obligation or a documented dispute. For completed or ongoing projects, we keep relevant records for the period required by the contract and applicable law. Technical logs, analytics records, and backups follow their applicable system settings and legal requirements. We will also consider a verified deletion request where the law allows.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, ask for a copy of your information, or withdraw consent where we rely on it. You may also complain to a relevant data-protection authority. Contact gerry.li@aiyiot.com to make a request. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and may retain information where law requires or permits it.
Changes
We may update this notice if our website or data practices change. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
