Engineering Review Before Tooling
The DFM review should start from the current 2D/3D files and project requirements. The review can cover draft, wall thickness, ribs and bosses, parting-line and gate considerations, appearance surfaces, assembly interfaces, critical dimensions, expected quantities, and the required validation schedule.
