Engineering Review Before Tooling
The DFM review should start from the current 2D/3D drawing and project requirements. The review can cover part geometry, draft, wall thickness, parting-line and gate considerations, appearance surfaces, critical interfaces, inspection requirements, expected quantities, and the required validation schedule.
